Conduct inventory Taking/Stock Opname every day and routine, it is very important.

"Often also termed TAKE STOCK" , "One way to find out the existing stock by direct counting of physical goods that exist with the computer data / system".

The main purpose of stock opname done routinely and periodically each day are as follows:

•   Knowing the accuracy of inventory
•   Providing real picture about what actually happens in warehouse (eg: internal leakage)
•   The data can be used by the accounting to improve the accuracy of financial statements.
•   Can be used to Trace Back (search) against the variance / difference.
•   Can be used as one ingredient of the performance assessment of warehouse staff.

 There are several procedures to prepare before hospitalization stock in the warehouse.
1. Before the stock-taking by:

•   Tidy up all the goods are in warehouse

•   Separate according to the storage

•   Create a table / list of goods which are calculated

•   Decide who is doing the calculations, and in charge of inventory taking

2. While doing the inventory taking:

•   Do the calculations to completion

•   If the calculation results differ between the 2 groups, do the calculations simultaneously.

 3. After the stock-taking by:

•   Create Report Inventory Taking

•   Calculate deviation / variance of each item.

•   Signature form and submit to the administration.
