Components of Logistics System

Theoretically, there are five components that combine to form a logistics system, which includes:
a. Structure Facility
The structure of the facility chosen by a company is fundamental to the outcome logistics. Amount, large and geographical setting of the facilities operated or used that has a direct relationship to the ability of services to corporate customers and towards the cost of logistics. A realistic assessment of competence shows that all commercial transactions should be developed in certain locations. Facilities of an enterprise network is a series of locations to which and through which materials and products removed. Selection of a series of locations that excel (superior) can provide many competitive advantages.
b. Transportation
In a network of facilities, transportation is the connecting link. There are three aspects that must be considered as transport-related logistics systems. First is the speed / time of service required to move goods from one place to another place. This is important because if the delay in the distribution process resulted in delays to the work at the company level. The second aspect is the aspect of transportation costs.
