Working Principle hygrometer
Hygrometer has a working principle that is by using two thermometers. The first thermometer used to measure the temperature of ordinary air and the second to measure the saturated air temperature / humidity (bottom of the thermometer covered cloth / cotton is wet). Thermometer Dry Ball: quicksilver tube allowed to dry so it will measure the actual air temperature.
Thermometer Wet Ball: quicksilver tube wetted for the measured temperature is the temperature of saturation / saturation point, namely, the temperature required for water vapor to condense.
