STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE purpose (SOP) is to provide guidance on product delivery to the Outer City.
The scope of the SOP is to provide an explanation of:
1. Checking the condition of the expedition fleet.
2. Terms loading products onto the expedition fleet. Parties associated with SOP are:
1. Warehouse Staff.
2. Forklift Operator
3. Delivery Coordinator.
4. Factory Manager.
Standardization and definitions are used:
1. Printing forms and other documentation using A4 paper and black and white.
2. Posting Date: using the format DD-MMM-YY.
Example: 20-May-10
Work Instructions
1. Warehouse Staff conduct a visual inspection of the condition of the expedition fleet that will be used prior to loading the product into the fleet. The purpose of visual inspection is to determine whether there is potential that can cause damage at the time of delivery (delivery defects) such as: surface fleet (truck) is not flat, screws / nails like a fleet (trucks) are prominent in both the wall and at the base and the availability of the hook for binding tracker.
2. If the condition is not worth the expedition fleet fleet DENIED and inform the Delivery Coordinator to look for other fleets.
3. Terms loading the product into the fleet expeditions carried out by the packaging of products as follows:
a. Packaging products in Totank Faucet Totank facing the outside of the fleet. Check for leakage / seepage valves per loading Totank to the fleet. Not allowed to put other products in the packaging Totank.
b. Packaging products in Drums, Drum condition should stand. Drum position close to the head of the Truck. If the fleet can not load the entire contents as planned in accordance with the Delivery Order (DO), then inform the Factory Delivery Coordinator or Manager. Verify that the drum is bound by strong and safe from damage.
c. Products with Pail Packaging: Pail conditions must pallet: Compiled a maximum of 3 stacks @ 16 pail per pallet. Given a cardboard divider between the stack. Conditions pail per crate: prepared up to 4 stacks.
4. After loading the product into the fleet is complete, do the photo shoot from 4 sides of the front, side, top and rear.
5. Make sure the products have been loaded on top of the fleet covered with tarpaulin and tied properly and safely.

Thanks for the information on fleets. I have been shipping my products and I never knew that there was such a "science" to packing up the fleets. I am just assuming that this applies to fleet trucks as well. Thanks for the informational post!
